Ulysses Nardin reveals Blast Moonstruck

News

The Swiss watch company Ulysse Nardin has launched a new wristwatch called “Blast Moonstruck”. The purpose of this watch is to show how the Moon, Sun and other celestial movements appear from the perspective of the Earth. The phase of the moon, which is the heart of the watch, rotates every 29 days, 12 hours, 41 minutes and 9.3 seconds according to the time of the Moon’s orbit with respect to the line connecting the Sun and the Earth. In addition to the lunar phases, the watch also tracks the Moon’s rotation, the (apparent) motion of the Sun around the Earth, and the ebb and flow. And so you could say that this watch of celestial movements is ideal for beginning astronomers. The diameter of the watch is 45mm. The case is made of black ceramic with a titanium finish. The straps can be selected from alligator leather, velvet or rubber.
